Bagh Azad Kashmir: The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has announced the schedule for the elections for the vacant seat of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir LA 15 Bagh 2.

Polling for the vacant Legislative Assembly seat LA 15 Bagh 2 will be held on 08 June 2023. This seat of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was vacant due to the disqualification of former Prime Minister Sardar Tanviralias Khan.

 

According to the schedule issued by the Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, nomination papers can be submitted by 10th May at 4 pm to contest the vacant seat of LA 15 Bagh 2. The list of candidates will be published after the scrutiny of the nomination papers submitted by the candidates from 8 am to 2 pm on May 11. On May 15, 2023, before 2 pm before the Election Tribunal against the rejection of the nomination papers.

 

Appeals can be filed and these appeals will be heard at the Muzaffarabad Election Commission office on May 16, while decisions on them will be given by May 17.

Candidates will be able to announce their withdrawal from the election before 2 pm on May 18, after which the final list of candidates will be published. Electoral symbols will be allotted to the candidates before 2 pm on 19 May after which the final list of candidates will be published with the electoral symbols and on 08 June 2023 from 8 am to 5 pm in Constituency LA 15 Bagh.

 

According to the press release issued by the spokesperson Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission, it is necessary for the aspirants participating in the elections to submit the details of their movable and immovable assets to the Returning Officer.

 

Submit it to the Election Commission of Kashmir. Therefore, the aspirants participating in the by-elections of the above-mentioned constituency are informed through a press release that before submitting their nomination papers to the Returning Officer, they must submit the details of their movable and immovable assets on stamp paper to the Secretary, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Submit the receipt to the Election Commission at its office, Block No. 06 Ground Floor, Civil Secretariat, Chattar Domail, Muzaffarabad, so that this receipt can be submitted along with the documents while submitting the nomination papers to the Returning Officer. A sample of asset details can be obtained from the Election Commission.

Officer, Additional District, and Sessions Judge Family Court Bagh have been appointed as Returning Officer, Tehsildar Bagh as Returning Officer for the elections in Legislative Assembly Constituency LA 15 East Bagh. A formal notification has been issued in this regard.
