J&K Government Speeds Up Development Projects Srinagar’s Smart City

Srinagar (Azadi Times) – Under the administration of the Jammu and Kashmir government, significant progress has been made on various projects in the Smart City project of Srinagar.

One of the key objectives of this development is to create a picturesque lakeside park, offering visitors a splendid view of the serene Dal Lake.

Officials have stated that this initiative will transform Dal Lake into a popular destination, providing residents and tourists with a pristine and enjoyable experience. The Smart City project includes plans for the construction of footpaths, lighting, and beautification of public spaces, which will enhance accessibility and safety at places commonly frequented by pedestrians.

Syed Iqbal, the custodian of Srinagar Smart City Limited, emphasized that ongoing construction will not only contribute to the city’s aesthetics but also attract and entertain tourists. It will add a fresh dimension to the city’s landscape, and visitors can relish the beauty of Dal Lake from this serene lakeside park.

The development of the lakeside park and related infrastructure in the region will further bolster the foundation of the area and offer a new tourism site for both tourists and locals.
