An Islamabad anti-terrorism court approved the bail plea for 95 Kashmiri demonstrators who were detained following a protest called by former senator Mushtaq Ahmed.

An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has approved the bail applications of 95 Kashmiri detainees who were arrested following a protest demonstration at F-9 Park.

Islamabad police had previously registered heavy criminal cases, including terrorism charges, against the protesters who participated in the demonstration called by former senator Mushtaq Ahmed.

Legal experts affiliated with the J&K Chamber in Islamabad—including Khawaja Sajjad Ahmed Advocate, Khaliq-ur-Rehman Saifi Advocate, Fayyaz Janjua Advocate, Barrister Sardar Danish Riaz Advocate, Kamran Idris Advocate, Usman Nasir Advocate, Dawood Khurshid Advocate, Zofishan Advocate, Yasir Khushhal Advocate, and others—provided legal representation for the detainees.

The court's decision brings relief to the families of the arrested individuals amid ongoing legal proceedings regarding the demonstration in the federal capital.
