Pakistani TikToker Sana Yousuf Fatally Shot in Islamabad: Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect

Islamabad, Pakistan – June 2, 2025 — A rising TikTok content creator, Sana Yousuf, was tragically shot dead in her home in the federal capital Islamabad, authorities confirmed on Monday.

The fatal shooting occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station, in the G-13 sector of the city, where Sana had been residing. The 22-year-old influencer, originally from Upper Chitral, was reportedly gunned down by a guest who had come to visit her at her residence.

According to police officials, the suspect fled the scene immediately after committing the crime. A manhunt is currently underway, and law enforcement agencies are utilizing digital and forensic tools to trace the accused.

“The body has been shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a postmortem examination. The motive behind the murder is not yet clear,” said a police spokesperson.

Authorities have sealed off the area for evidence collection and are reviewing CCTV footage and digital communication records to aid the investigation.

Sana Yousuf had gained a modest following on TikTok for her lifestyle and entertainment videos and was reportedly working on expanding her digital media presence across multiple platforms.
