Kashmir Needs Your Voice

With internet services suspended in Pakistan-administered Kashmir since 6 June 2026, timely reporting has become increasingly challenging. The Azadi Times is inviting Kashmir-based writers and journalists to join our network of authors and contributors.

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers, who were reportedly affiliated with a Fahim Akhter Rubbani, hurled abuses at Sardar Aman Kashmiri, a prominent Kashmiri youth leader. When confronted, they launched a vicious attack on Sajid Malik Advocate.

Local media outlets have revealed that the attackers are the same individuals who had previously assaulted Sardar Aman Khan Kashmiri in Pallandari.

The incident has sent shockwaves throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with many taking to social media to condemn the attack. The JKLF has demanded immediate action against the perpetrators and has called for an investigation into the incident.

The attack is seen as a blatant attempt to silence the JKLF and suppress the voice of the Kashmiri people. The international community has been urged to take notice of the escalating human rights violations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
