Police Crackdown on Criminals in Mirpur District

Mirpur, AJK – A major police crackdown on criminals in Mirpur district has resulted in the arrest of 217 people, including a large number of illegally residing Afghans. The operation was personally monitored by SSP Mirpur Raja Irfan Saleem.

During the operation, 35 motorcycles and 8 vehicles were also seized. The suspects were arrested for a variety of crimes, including theft, robbery, burglary, and dacoity. They were also found to be illegally residing in the district.

Public and civil circles have welcomed the crackdown against such elements across the district. They have demanded that the crackdown continue and that the arrested persons be deported from the district.
