The Writers Guild of America strike has put brakes on Game of Thrones new spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.

Writing on his blog, George R. R. Martin confirmed the writers’ strike has halted the fantasy show.

“The writer’s room on A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS: THE HEDGE KNIGHT has closed for the duration,” he penned.

“[Showrunner] Ira Parker and his incredible staff of young talents are on the picket lines.” the writer said.

However, another prequel House of the Dragon is on its path to completion, after its season two scripts were ready.

“Dragon started filming April 11 and will continue in London and Wales,” adding, “The scripts for the eight s2 episodes were all finished months ago, long before the strike began.

Every episode has gone through four or five drafts and numerous rounds of revisions, to address HBO notes, my notes, budget concerns, etc. There will be no further revisions. The writers have done their jobs; the rest is in the hands of the directors, cast and crew… and of course the dragons.”

Fans of ABC’s GMA3 are making public their wish for Sam Champion to replace former hosts Amy Robach and T.J Holmes permanently.

The daytime news show has been without permanent anchors after the scandalous pair exit.

The management has employed several hosts temporarily to lead the show, such as Dr. Jennifer Ashton, DeMarco Morgan, Gio Benitez, Phil Lipof, and Eva Pilgrim.

However, the show’s fans are calling on the 61-year-old to herald the helm of the show back to its prime.

A fan commented Sam would be “great” in the role.

“Sam Champion ould [sic] make a GREAT permanent HOST!,” another said.

“He has the personality and following to get the show back on track plus a great journalist as well as well known meteorologist.”

Interestingly, the host responded to comments in his favour saying, “Awwwww. Thank u for ur kind words,” with a love heart emoji.

Previously, Robach and Holmes exit from GMA3, ABC has still not filled in the permanent replacement of the hosts.

The network, it seems, is engaging in experiments as they are putting temporary hosts on the seats of the once permanent anchors.

Following this, the latest face to join the morning show is popular instructor Jess Sims.

Last week, Jess, who boasted half a million followers on Instagram, officially entered the GMA team.

The Firework singer is set to headline the Coronation concert on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, along with Lionel Richie, after the historic ceremony.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, the American Idol judge said she is “so grateful” for the opportunity.

“I’m just so grateful to be asked for these moments and that I have the songs to I think support them,” Perry said of her much-anticipated show. “It’s all about the songs at the end of the day.”

The Grammy-winning artist also added that she is an ambassador for one of the royal foundations, The British Asian Trust.

“It’s natural because it’s a foundation that helps in child trafficking which is massive and horrible, the Dark Horse singer shared.

“I’m also an ambassador for UNICEF, so both of those things really are my core values and as a mother, I know first-hand what’s most important — which are these innocent children.”

She continued, “I’m going there to represent myself as an ambassador and just to bring the light and the love. That’s all I ever want to bring.”

“It was very important for me to tell that whole story,” he said. “That was the main thing that kept me driven during the making of this movie because I felt like it was important as far as these things can be…The first story is the story of the mother; the second film is the story of the father; and this film is the story of the self so it’s innately more intimate because of that.”

Gunn added that Rocket, the weapons expert of the group, is the character the director relates to the most. “Rocket’s the one I feel close to, so this is my story.”

Taylor Swift is all set to go public with her new lover Matty Healy just two months after she broke up with boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker and The 1975 frontman reportedly “coming out” on-stage during the singer’s forthcoming show in Nashville amid her Eras tour.

Healy will perform two of Swift’s songs as he will appear on stage as a guest just like she did when she sang two 1975 numbers at their London concert back in February.

“Taylor and Matty have been planning their ‘coming out’ for a few weeks now, and are really excited just to go public with their love,” a source told The Sun.

“Neither of them want any secrets, or to hide away. The plan is for Matty to walk out on stage mid-show and play two songs,” the insider said.

“They will chat to the audience and, at present, the idea is for them to confirm their romance with some kind of PDA — public display of affection. It won’t be anything remotely cheesy though.”

This comes a week after it was revealed that Swift has moved on with the musician after parting ways with Alwyn.

Earlier this week, an insider close to the superstar told the publication, “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right.”

A source close to the former lovers tells US Sun that Khloe has named her baby in order to give an ode to her father, Robert Kardashian.

“There was talk about whether it should be Tatum Robert or should it be Robert Tatum,” a source told the outlet in an article published Thursday.

The insider added, “Some in the family were leaning more towards Robert, because it honors her dad and her brother, [Rob Kardashian].

British pop star and songwriter Ed Sheeran did not copy Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” when composing “Thinking Out Loud”, a US court has ruled.

Sheeran – who emerged victorious on Thursday – told the court in New York that if he was found guilty he would give up his music career, leaving fans in shock.

The artist was accused of stealing a chord progression from Marvin Gaye’s 1973 classic “Let’s Get It On” and using it in his Grammy-winning song.

“If that happens, I’m done — I’m stopping,” said Sheeran, 32, appearing to vow he would quit music if he loses, according to the New York Post. “I find it really insulting to work my whole life as a singer-songwriter and diminish it.”

One of Sheeran’s fans tweeted: “I actually enjoy Ed Sheeran’s music. His two first albums, at least. I don’t get why everyone hates on him when he’s literally the most unproblematic artist out there. Anyway, I’m glad he won his copyright trial.”

Another wrote: “Oh! U are back.” while the third one reacted: “wow! we know u are a musician, not a thief.”

Some others greeted the singer for his victory, saying: “We will enjoy your music till death.”

K-pop band Le Sserafim has earned the highest first day sales from a female K-pop artist with their latest comeback Unforgiven. They have hit a new peak on the list for their sixth consecutive week.

They made history on the chart by becoming the fastest K-pop group to have entered the Hot 100 as Cupid debuted at No. 100 only four months after being released. In their sixth week, they almost made it to the Top 40 but fell short by one spot, ranking at No. 41.

They are only the third Korean group to climb so high on the Hot 100, coming behind Blackpink and BTS. The song further made its way to No. 8 on the Global Excl. U.S. and the Global 200 charts.

Last but not least, they continued to hold on to the No. 11 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart in their 7th consecutive week.
