The people came out in protest against land grabbing, cutting in wheat subsidy, and non-provision of other basic human amenities in every district of the disputed region.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, there was a strike against illegal state taxes, and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan also held protests against the illegal state occupation of lands in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Pashtun leader Manzoor Pashteen supported the protest and said that harsh colonialism is still present in this state even from the British period. Land occupation on one side and media blackout on the other. The subjugated nations are made to feel alienated every hour.

The leaders of Gilgit said that they are extremely grateful to Manzoor Pashteen for supporting the voice raised against the illegal occupation of the colonialists in Gilgit-Baltistan.
