According to rescue sources, four of the injured have been taken to the hospital. The jeep was en route from Lewat Bala to Muzaffarabad at the time of the accident.
Police reported that a woman and two children, who were cutting grass at the accident site, were also injured and have been taken to the hospital.
Rescue operations began immediately after the accident, but heavy rain has hampered the relief efforts.
