Mirpur: 09 December 2022 Azad Kashmir’s Minister of Physical Planning and Housing Chaudhry Yasir Sultan has said that the promise of holding local elections in Azad Kashmir was made by Quaid Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, which we have fulfilled.
The mayor of Kotli will also be of PTI. The credit for this historic success in Mirpur and Kotli goes to Quaid Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan who fulfilled our election promises and President of Tehreek-e-Insaf Pakistan. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran PTI’s leadership and workers were proud by bringing Khan’s vision to fruition. Municipal Corporation and Committees in Mirpur and Kotli will be formed by PTI as Mayor and District Council Chairman.
I also thank all the successful candidates and voters for this historic achievement who kept the barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry’s pug high. The successful independent candidates of TI will also join the party soon and those who did not get tickets in the municipal elections will also be united and organized in the same way. There are 25 councilors who have succeeded. He expressed these views while addressing a crowded press conference on the occasion of PTI’s grand slide victory in local body elections in the Mirpur and Kotli districts. On this occasion, 25 successful councilors of LA 3 Mirpur were also present with him.
