Vladimir Putin Sworn in for Fifth Consecutive Presidential Term in Russia

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken the oath for his fifth consecutive six-year presidential term.

According to international media, President Putin secured victory in the presidential elections held in March in Russia.

Addressing ministers and other attendees at the ceremony, the Russian President said, “We are united and great people; together, we will overcome all obstacles.”

Putin emphasized, “We will complete all our projects and we will win together.”

According to international media, Vladimir Putin’s first inauguration ceremony took place in May 2000.
