Hattian Bala: The Deputy Commissioner of Hattian Bala has imposed Section 144 in the district, prohibiting the export of animals ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. Azadi Times reported on Tuesday.,

This decision was made in response to public complaints about the rising prices of sacrificial animals.

The ban is effective immediately and will remain in place until after Eid. Anyone found violating the ban will be subject to legal action.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the ban was necessary to ensure that the prices of sacrificial animals remain affordable for everyone. He added that the ban would also help to prevent the smuggling of animals out of the district.

Public circles have welcomed the ban, saying that it will help to keep the prices of sacrificial animals down. They have also urged people to buy animals from local sellers, rather than from smugglers.
