Azad Kashmir will set up more SDMA units based on need AJK PM Tanveer Ilyas

Muzaffarabad (PID) November 13, 2022 Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that more SDMA units will be established in Azad Kashmir on the basis of need, government ministers, assembly members and PTI former assembly candidates should move in this regard, avoid any sudden situation.

SDMA units will be established on the basis of need to be tested. It should be initiated wherever it is needed, including Haveli, Khai Gula, Kotli, Bhambar, Mirpur, Jhelum Valley, Neelam Valley and Khawra.

Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that the Govt. Azad Kashmir has approved the establishment of State Disaster Management Authority centers at the tehsil level to deal with/prevent loss of life and property in natural calamities and accidents. Will make.

He said that there is an urgent need for effective preparation to deal with the effects of natural calamities and climate change and in this regard the State Disaster Management Authority should be activated and strengthened.

To deal with the current situation, continuous monitoring of water flow in streams and rivers and cleaning of sewage lines in municipal limits should be arranged so that sewage lines do not get blocked during rains to deal with the emergency situation.
