Approval for setting up units of State Disaster Management Authority at Tehsil level

Muzaffarabad (PID) The Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, while approving the creation of units at the tehsil level of the State Disaster Management Authority, directed that by creating SDMA units at the tehsil/sub-division, emergency and first aid Aid equipment should be provided, a doctor in all SDMA centers and stock of medicines should be kept on the parole of SDMA, all SDMA centers should be in touch with Civil Defence, Health Department and Rescue 1122 at all times. Should . Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, while approving the construction of SDMA units in Tehsil Hari Gahl, Rera, Birpani, Dhirkot, Thorar, Jandathi and Tain Bazar, has said in the directive issued to the Secretary State Disaster Management Authority that natural disasters in Azad Kashmir There is apprehension while in the past there has been destruction due to natural calamities, there is a need to take advance measures in this regard so that the damage can be minimized. By taking precautionary measures we can minimize the damage caused by natural calamities. Azad Kashmir Prime Minister said that the situation is changing due to environmental changes. We have to prepare ourselves in case of any trial. Our country has been a victim of natural disasters in which floods, earthquakes, storms, avalanches have been increasing for the past few years, which requires emergency measures to reduce them. In order to deal with the possibility of disaster caused by natural calamities, the preparation and awareness of the common people is an important need of time so that they can play their role in saving themselves and others in the event of any disaster. By taking pre-emptive measures and precautionary measures, the damage caused by disasters and accidents can be minimized.
