MUZAFFARABAD: As tensions in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir continue to escalate, the two-and-a-half million inhabitants of the occupied state are calling on the international community to support their right to self-determination.

In a tweet regarding the upcoming G20 Summit in Srinagar, Atif Maqbool urges member countries to condemn India for its controversial actions and tactics in the region.

Sharing the quote on his Twitter handle, Atif Maqbool said I welcome world leaders from all over the world to Jammu and Kashmir. I want to remind them that the two and a half million people of the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir are looking to the world for their right to self-determination. We hope that members of  G 20 countries will also condemn India for its controversial actions and counterintuitive tactics in the disputed state.
