New Zealand and Australia kick off the year 2023 with spectacular fireworks displays

New Year 2023 has started in New Zealand and Australia, with a spectacular fireworks display in Auckland city to usher in the New Year.

A large number of citizens gathered on the occasion to watch the fireworks as the countdown ended.

A spectacular fireworks display was set off over Sydney Harbour, with citizens wishing each other a Happy New Year.
